COVID-19 UPDATE

We wanted to let you know that, here at Davie UMC, we are keeping a close eye on the virus. First and foremost we need to be in continued prayer for those that are infected and those that are the most vulnerable in our community as we go through this difficult time. Please pray for our leaders, first responders, doctors, nurses and anyone on the front lines of trying to stop this pandemic!

We also see that in society things are changing rapidly and here at Davie UMC, we too are making some necessary changes. We ask if you are sick please take the appropriate actions by consulting your doctor and following the recommendations of the CDC.

Current Sunday Worship Services:

Go here for information on our Guidelines for reopening for in person worship.

Most of the regular groups that meet at church throughout the week are restarting after June 15th. We will continue to use ZOOM meetings for some of our weekly meetings. The Thrift Store is still closed at this time. We will be having the Bread of Life for now with a changed format! If you have food to donate please contact us at the church office at (954) 581-0920.

We encourage you to continue to either tithe online by using our Davie UMC link: www.davieumc.com/giving or send your contributions to the church via mail. The church's expenses will continue, even though we will be having some disruptions of people not able to come to church. We do understand if your financial situation has been disrupted. Please give according to your own situation.

We have suspended our visitation ministry to those in the hospital and assisted living facilities. We will be reaching out and praying for those in need via phone, text, and email.

Please let us know at the church office if you get sick or need any type of help in this time. We will be praying for you and please be in prayer, as we know that God is working through all of this. God Bless You!
